Are you a better team going forward for the next year or two with Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers. Considering you are stupid enough to drink the Mister Rodgers neighborhood Kool-Aid that you could somehow think that you could do better than a QB that threw for over 4000 yds and got his 9th PROBOWL nomination with A-Rod and no not the A-Rod that is the 3B for the Yankees.
I have nothing against Aaron Rodgers whatsoever, Do I think Favre made a mistake in how he handled this - absolutely. But Brett gives you the best chance to win the SB this year. Personally I think you groom Brohm and let Favre play out the contract if he wants. Trade Rodgers and KGB for Jason Taylor.
Ted - I try and have respect for you - you did hire McCarthy, you did get some good receivers like Jennings, Jones etc. However, there is no way in hell that you can believe that Rodgers for the next year could be better than Favre.... maybe he turns into Romo as a rookie, but he would be too green to lead the team to the promised land.
NEWSFLASH - TED - WHEN YOU HAVE A GREAT PLAYER THAT CAN STILL PLAY = GET OUT OF THEIR WAY. Let me put it another way....... You have someone that can still play at a high level.
Settle this like a man- Invite Favre to camp and have him compete for the job which he will easily win if you are not biased. If you have the balls to cut him after camp you can see him on opening day in a Vikings uniform.
