QUESTION TO JIM HENDRY: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?????

The offseason for the Cubs in the past few years has been exciting as they were able to grab names such as Alfonso Soriano, Derek Lee, and Greg Maddux.  But this offseason has many Cubs fans scratching their heads and looking at each other confused.  Confused on what direction Jim Hendry is taking this team.  Is he trying to dump salary?  Is he going in a youth movement?  Is he trying to dump salary to grab a bigger fish in the sea such as Peavy or Ramirez?  Is he building a team to win a World Series this year?  I know the answer to the last one and that is a big NO.  What is he doing?  Lets glance at the Cubs offseason so far.  The Cubs have gotten rid of Mark Derosa, Kerry Wood, Jim Edmonds, Bob Howry, Henry Blanco, Ronny Cedeno, Felix Pie, Jason Marquis, Garret Olson, Jose Ceda, Jon Lieber, and Daryle Ward.  Phew, that was a lot in one sentence.  The Cubs acquistions so far in the offseason are Milton Bradley, Aaron Heliman, Joey Gathright, Aaron Miles, Jeff Stevens, Kevin Gregg, and Luis Vizcaino.  And for the people we have received, we have received little in return for people we have traded for.  When the Cubs traded away Derosa, the Cubs really got nothing in return.  That trade was a steal for the Indians.  When they traded away Felix Pie, they got nothing in return for him.  When the Cubs recently just traded away Garret Olson and Ronny Cedeno, whom both were rumored to be in the Peavy deal, they got really nothing in return except for an unproven pitcher in Aaron Heilman who almost is the exact replica of Bob Howry.  Heilman almost got booed out of town in New York for all the games he lost for the Mets.  The Cubs have said good-bye to fan favorite in Kerry Wood, who was just turning his career around as a closer and the Cubs kicked him to the curb.  The Cubs are sold on Marmol who I believe still has a lot to prove he can close games out.  Woody was perfect for the Cubs.  Now, it is just one big mess.  I do not see any upgrades on the Cubs team.  All I see is a foggy future and 100 more years of them without a championship.  The only place is see where the Cubs have improved on is signing Milton Bradley, but still he is not guaranteed to stay healthy all year.  Don't even get me started with the Derosa trade.  That is probably the dumbest trade I have seen from Hendry since trading away three young prospects to Juan Pierre.   So this brings me back to my orginal question to Mr. Jim Hendry: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?  Nothing.   Unless you somehow pull off a trade for Peavy, you have destined the Cubs for doom.  Maybe you should lay off a couple bottles of whiskey so you can realize all the mistakes you have made this offseason.  Then you will have to look at yourself in the mirror and say, "  What the hell did I just do?"  You angered Cubs fans, thats what you just did.
