Rich Harden Debuts, Finally

Good ol' Canadian James Richard Harden showed us why the Cubs got him when he pitched 2 innings in Tuesday's Cactus League game against Seattle.

The cubs have been all tip-toe with Rich, limiting his throws since he's been taking trips to the DL for the past 3 seasons, and was on the stint when he was traded.

Yeah, he would like for the talk to stop about his shoulder, that he is feeling better than before, yadda yadda.

The problem here Rich, is that you don't understand our fragile state of mind. When a pitcher is gone to the DL, especially one of your caliber, we are worried that we will not do good and it's the end for our season.

So, forgive us if we are a little bit concerned. We care. We care about our team and our players. We want our team to win so badly that we hate hearing any bad news.

So, anyways, it looks good so far since he struck out one with two hits. Sweeet Lou is considering putting him fourth behind Big Z, Dempster and Lilly. Good move. No big pressure on him, and if his off-season regimine strengthened his shoulder liek he says, then we can stop hyperventilating and just do deep breaths now.
